Fawn Child

fawn child of the forest
never hunted
never chased
yet ever near death’s flight

saint of stillness
silent source of centre
spark of gut instinct
dweller in the sanctuary of my deepest longing

together we breathe
this white snow
cold air
blue sky moment
between and beyond

what do you see
when you look back at me?

you are forever healed
while I am never healing
my gaze is inward
and yours is infinite

  1. I enjoyed Fawn Child. I felt the meeting of Spirits, the fragility of Life, You and the Fawn recognizing(?) each as Life, accepting each other’s Life. Forever healed? Innocence? Continuation of Life? Never healing? I send you healing and comfort for your tears, and would sit with you speaking words that would Heal, thoughts that would Heal, Light that would Heal. Thank you for who you are.

      1. I was very much bothered by your “never healing” line that I Wanted to send healing.

  2. Your words entranced me into the woods ….
