waking early
under cover
dreams are drifting
shadows lifting
birdsong glory
weaving story
crow calls proudly
dog barks loudly
crickets singing
evening sun songs
love and endings
light descending
darkness falling
cardinal calling
clouds are forming
summer storming

May these words bring truth
and healing through open hands and hearts.
And then, let it flow back into our Mother Earth
for the love of all her beings.
