laid bare is an offering of love to fields and flowers. It is a song of gratitude for nature’s gifts of light and shadow – as it passes through the last of winter’s dark night; shimmers in the alchemy of summer air and lingers in the luscious golden light of fall.
In this small volume, we weave together seven images and seven poems to celebrate the world of flowers and plants and to reflect on how they touch our lives and bring joy throughout the seasons.
laid bare is our second creative project. In 2023, we previously worked together on the art and poetry exhibition, Sowing the Future: When Food becomes Connection.
