I am a writer * editor * poet * crone * eco witch * mother * friend * lover.

I live in Ottawa Canada — unceded and unsurrendered original territory and meeting place of the Algonquin, St Lawrence Iroquoian and Anishinabewaki, (ᐊᓂᔑᓈᐯᒃ) people; later settled by English, French and other Europeans; now also home to immigrants and refugees from Asia and the Middle East as well as innumerable generous plant and wary animal beings.

For many years I have written and edited resources to enhance wellness and improve health equity for those who may be at-risk of physical and mental health challenges. As I ease into my crone years, my writing has become more focused on crafting words that strive to echo the magical and mythic voices of the living land and her beings.

Diane Perazzo lives in Ottawa, on unceded and unsurrendered territory of the Algonquin, St Lawrence Iroquoian and Anishinabewaki, (ᐊᓂᔑᓈᐯᒃ) people.  She has been growing and working with herbs, foraging and observing local plant allies obsessively for more than 20 years in order to inform her poetry and practice as an eco witch.  Her goal is act as a creative and magical ally to plant beings.
